(More customer reviews)The Simplicity SE3 is so simple to use! I purchased this machine and received it within just a few days from Amazon. Watched the video, and I was embroidering within minutes! It's been a long time since I purchase a sewing machine of any type and I was amazed by automation of this machine. It tells you when there is a problem such as thread breaking or warns you the presser foot hasn't been lowered. It stitches very nice and even. Even my husband was impressed! Watch out, once you get this machine you will be looking at every towel, shirt or piece of cloth wondering what you can embroider on it! A lot of Brother accessories will also fit this machine which makes it very versitle. I chose this machine over the Brother 150 as it had many more options to it. It's worth every cent!

Brother SA127 5mm Narrow Hem Foot Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this (and the distinctive narrow hem foot which is the same thing so stay away from that too imo)and tried to use it on anything. It will only work on lightweight fabrics and even then the stitching is hard to look uniform. The stitches look wonky and the hem is incredibly small (5mm or less). I decided to just go for it and get the "distinctive" rolled hem foot set which has seven different and USEFUL sized hems (like 1/4" and 5/8", etc.)and give you a chance to keep those hems clean and professional looking. It is $50 for the set, but i am so much happier to have hemming feet that actually work!

EZ Self Threading Needles (12pk) Review

About 1/2 the needles thread easily through the "EZ Threading" top, and the other half cut/rip the thread rather than threading the needle. Also, this item was small enough to fit in a small envelope, but instead of sending it in a 42 cent envelope they sent it with a magazine and put it in a large padded envelope that cost me $4.82 rather than 42 cents for shipping. Other than that the needles work fine.

Deluxe Flat-bed Portable Case P60214 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this case because I believed my Brother would fit based on the item description. In order to be sure I contacted the seller who about a week later said he had only the information I was able to gather after chasing it around the Internet. I should have been concerned that a seller didn't know anymore about what was in the box than I did, but I ordered anyway. The machine arrived sealed in the manufacturer's box and rattling. The box was sturdy and undamaged. I opened it and found the only packaging to be three of those air filled plastic packing bubbles. When I lifted the case out by its handle I found one side not latched making extraction awkward but not time consuming. The rattle turned out to be a plastic shelf that I assume mounts inside the case, I never got far enough along to find out. It must be self explanatory however because there are no printed instructions.
The case was undamaged so I tried to set my machine inside. The machine's base is 15" long and about 6" wide at the bottom. The case unfortunately is 14.5" long inside so the machine doesn't fit. The maximum width inside the base is 6.75" because of some ridges that protrude inside. There is a divider at one end for storing the pedal and miscellaneous extras I assume. It is 2 7/8" long and 7.5 inches wide.
The case is not "deluxe" by my definition but seems to be exactly what I thought it was; light but sturdy enough for household storage. I'd call it utilitarian. It's a tan color if that matters. I give it a 3 because the manufacturer's packing of loose parts inside the case is just lazy and they are too feeble minded to give us the actual internal dimensions so we'd know if our machine would fit before we buy it. (More customer reviews)I go through a lot of tear away, so when I ran out I was very happy to find this! The width of this roll is a nice size for many projects.
This is a great bargain compared to what you would pay at fabric store chains, I cringe when I have to buy it at a store knowing I can get it so much cheaper online (plus stores tend to only carry the heavy weight, which tends to distort your project when you rip it away....this weight is kinder to your design and is less likely to pull it out of shape when you remove it!)
I would really recommend this item, its a great sewing aid at a great price.

Since I was about to buy yet another pair of scissors, I decided to try it. It really put a good edge on all my shears (except pinking, nail and hair - which it does not sharpen). You have to be somewhat careful holding the blade at the correct angle, as there is a bit of wiggle room under the guide. One practice run with a cheap pair of scissors should suffice, however, and it is wonderful to have really sharp scissors again. Lots of them!

(More customer reviews)this product is so bad it doesn't deserve even one star... the plastic parts are not made well so it doesn't go together well....it sits crooked and looks bad...i have one from an earlier time and it's not as bad....i realise that platic is not going to be as good as a metal one but it should at least go together well and not look like a "drunken salior"...it does give one pause as to ordering anything from Dritz...thinking they may be trying to keep a low price and have inferior manufacting.....i bought one from the local quilt shop and i couldn't even get the screw out of the base to put the rod in the base....so i'm thinking that Dritz needs to re-think their source...

(More customer reviews)We've used this machine at our home overseas in 220-240V version for over four years and have found it to be flawless in performance, effortless in programming and use, so uncomplicated to use that we had this in a orthodontists office where adults and children alike used the machine. Purchased the 110-120V version and am delighted with performance (seems to be some improvements over orignal model we own) Creates an excellent crema at the perfect temperature when pulling a shot(s) of espresso or an americano. Preinfusion feature insures great results. Plenty of powerful, dry steam for frothing milk. A breeze to use the cappucinador by placing line into milk jug or container, frothing milk directly into the cup. Touch screen panel gives clear and straightfoward commands. Audible bell tone advises if there is an item not in place, not enough water or dump bin needs to be cleaned. Generally I make between 18-22 coffees before needing to remove and clean the dump bin. Pleasant cobalt blue power switch and cobalt blue light that illuminates the large water tank. Grinder adjustment is very easy. customer service taught me a trick where you can "increase the grind time" thus receiving optimum results from a hard or heavily roasted coffee bean. This gave us the capability of achieving a sold coffee cake or puck after each coffee. We owned another brand here in america and it was difficult to remove the brewing group (a key was required). This one extremely easy to remove for cleaning with one turn of a clip and one knob that you unscrew. All in all we view this machine as outstanding and our thrilled that we can recommend our friends to buy it on Amazon. Although the water reservoir and bean container is larger than a unit that we used from Switzerland, I'm going to contact the maker to see if it's possible to get even a larger water reservoir and a larger bean container.
